The biocide used to protect reverse osmosis unit from biofilms is imported DBNPA, which is not produced in Russia. The IFO biocide – quinoline, which has shown high efficiency against biofilms. It has been introduced to protect the membranes of reverse osmosis plants against biofouling. Also biocide has been already experienced at Afipsky Oil Refinery LLC.
