At the primary oil refining unit of a JSC “NHS” branch in the Kemerovo Region, pilot tests of IFO reagents package of process chemicals, developed and supplied by IFOTOP LLC, were successfully completed. The tests focused on three key reagents: demulsifier IFO 700 (mark A), neutralizer IFO 3-Methoxypropylamine, and corrosion inhibitor IFO 702M (mark A).
The purpose of the tests was to assess the efficiency and reliability of the reagent package under real operating conditions at a new facility. All planned performance indicators were successfully met during the trials:
- Demulsifier exhibited exceptional efficiency in breaking oil emulsions, improving the quality and purity of raw materials.
- Neutralizer effectively reduced the impact of acidic compounds, minimizing their harmful effects on metal surfaces and equipment.
- Corrosion inhibitor provided robust surface protection against corrosive agents, ensuring long-term operational reliability.
The positive test results reaffirm the high effectiveness and versatility of reagent package, irrespective of the technical conditions, facility characteristics, location, or raw material quality. IFO functional chemistry not only enhances technological productivity and reliability in oil refining processes but also reduces maintenance costs by extending equipment lifespan.
