Our company has developed a series of water-soluble corrosion inhibitors IFO AMICOR. They are designed to protect equipment from corrosion in water environments of industrial processes. IFO inhibitors show high efficiency when dosed in amine treatment systems, acid water and in ethanolamine solutions: monoethanolamine (MEA), diethanolamine (DEA), triethanolamine (TEA), methyldiethanolamine (MDEA), diisopropanolamine (DIPA).

METHODS OF INHIBITORY PROTECTION

1st generation

Passivating amines with oxygen scavenging function (diethylhydroxylamine or carbohydrazide)

2nd type

Film-forming corrosion inhibitors
(amides or imidazolines)

3rd type

Combination of passivating agent and film-forming corrosion inhibitor

The innovative complex water-soluble corrosion inhibitor belongs to the 3rd type. It combines the properties of a film-forming water-soluble amide, which is developed on the basis of the N-methyl-p-anisidine, and the passivating agent IFO AMICOR-772. Thanks to its complex action, the reagent provides maximum anti-corrosion protection in the most aggressive conditions in acidic water and amine treatment systems.
