WATER SOLUBLE CORROSION INHIBITORS

WATER-SOLUBLE CORROSION INHIBITORS

Our company has developed a series of water-soluble corrosion inhibitors IFO AMICOR. They are designed to protect equipment from corrosion in water environments of industrial processes. IFO inhibitors show high efficiency when dosed in amine treatment systems, acid water and in ethanolamine solutions: monoethanolamine (MEA), diethanolamine (DEA), triethanolamine (TEA), methyldiethanolamine (MDEA), diisopropanolamine (DIPA).

METHODS OF INHIBITORY PROTECTION

1st generation

Passivating amines with oxygen scavenging function (diethylhydroxylamine or carbohydrazide)

2nd type

Film-forming corrosion inhibitors
(amides or imidazolines)

3rd type

Combination of passivating agent and film-forming corrosion inhibitor

The innovative complex water-soluble corrosion inhibitor belongs to the 3rd type. It combines the properties of a film-forming water-soluble amide, which is developed on the basis of the N-methyl-p-anisidine, and the passivating agent IFO AMICOR-772. Thanks to its systemic action, the reagent provides maximum anti-corrosion protection in the most aggressive conditions in acidic water and amine treatment systems.

IFO chemical engineers will help you in the selection of an effective dosage and treatment scheme.

RECOMMENDED DOSAGE SCHEME
Check 2

Into the circulation line of an water solution of ethanolamine

Or an acidic water line if only the ethanolamine water solution circulation line, acidic water collection tank, or waste columns need corrosion protection

Check 2

In the overhead line of stripping columns

If only the overhead line and reflux tank devices need corrosion protection

Check 2

SIMULTANEOUS SUPPLY OF REAGENT TO THE WHOLE SYSTEM

Into the ethanolamine water solution circulation line or acid water line and into the stripping column overhead line if corrosion protection is required in all areas of the system.
